Several people who seek refuge in the UK have experienced traumatic life events. Some lost their loved ones, homes, and livelihood. Others have seen dreadful things such as abuse, killings, and other forms of violence.

As these people start a new life in the UK, they are still not in a bed of roses. Refugees and immigrants may suffer from anxieties and depression because of the asylum process and their previous experiences. They may also have fears about their future and worry about the loved ones they had left or had died. These people need help as they look for housing, health support, a new source of income, education, and being accepted in the community.

Ultimate Counselling aims to supporting the East London immigrant community that includes, refugees, asylum seekers, those with No Recourse to Public Funds or experiencing immigration-related issues.

Here’s what we offer

1
Counselling And Psychotherapy
All immigrants including asylum seekers and refugees have varying and unique needs as they start living in the UK. With this, we thoroughly assessed the unique needs of our clients so that we can give them the most appropriate services. A culturally sensitive counselling aims to break cultural barriers so that our clients will feel safe and supported. We desire to see them exploring their past and present situations as we help and guide them towards recovery.
2
Community Support
Transferring to a new place is not an easy task, so with our community support service, we hope to help and see our clients settling well as they receive all the guidance they would need. As we establish a supportive community atmosphere, we want to see our clients improve their social skills. There will also be increased interaction and self-confidence as they continually build strong bonds with the people around them. With this, our clients can comfortably share information with others, speak about their thoughts and needs, and seek help from others when needed.
